BLOCKED is
truly an independent film made in a town that's twisted the definition
of that word. Little money, much blood, major sweat, and too many tears
brought this film together, and we'd love for you to come watch it and
celebrate with us!! SAMUEL, a timid struggling writer, is forced to get
a roommate when he can no longer pay the rent by himself. Having lost
a hand of blackjack to a rock star actor named JOKER, Samuel quickly learns
he may have made a mistake by putting his apartment on the line. When
Joker's wanton girlfriend, KATE, and MACY, an old acquaintance with a
dark past, suddenly appear and start to make themselves at home tensions
begin to mount. In one hazy night, Samuel learns that his new “roomies”
day jobs are probably much more different than what he’s been told,
and he suddenly finds himself being accused of rape and murder. Samuel
knows he should just leave but there’s just one thing stopping him…
His writer’s block is gone. Using his roommates as inspiration, Samuel
plugs away at his real life plot until the fateful climax when Samuel
learns exactly who these actors living with him really are… and who
they aren’t.
